The Digital Conversion Process [www.insidetherecordsroom.com]

We'll be presenting a two part interview on tonight's show.  For the first half hour, we'll be conducting an interview with Nancy Kunde.  She was part of a team that assisted in created the book, the Digital Records Conversion Process: Program Planning, Requirement, Procedures for ARMA.   We'll be discussing how the book was created and the finer points made within the book that would be important for the listeners to know.   In the second half hour, we'll have Bernie Lasoski From Conversion Technologies International, Inc. to discuss the practical applications that are discussed in the book.

So tonight, we'll go from Theory to Application in the business environment.

And for the month of May 2008, The Digital Records Conversion Process: Program Planning, Requirements, Procedures will be available from the ARMA Bookstore at a 10% discount for the listeners of Inside The Records Room.

Okay ... the quote is a little dramatic, but veeeeeeerrrrry important.  Time to stand up and applaud the efforts of every Records Management Professional out there.  From the Directors, right now to the entry level records clerk. Your participation and desire to set up and run fully compliant record programs is commendable.  Some of the doors that have been slammed in our faces over the years have been opened by Senior Management, due to legislation like Sarbanes-Oxley and Gramm Leach Bliley.   If they're going to open those doors, than push them wide open and step right in.  Feel the triumph of success !!!!
